Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising at the Colwick river gauge as a result of Storm BABET. Flooding continues. Areas most at risk are Hoveringham, including Boat Lane, Gonalston Lane, and Main Street. No further rainfall is forecast today. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow, 23/10/2023. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services. Please plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 23/10/2023, or as the situation changes.
