Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Colwick river gauge as a result of Storm BABET. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing. Areas most at risk are Hoveringham, including Boat Lane, Gonalston Lane, and Main Street. We do not forecast the situation to deteriorate any further.
Further rainfall is forecast for Tuesday, 24/10/23. River levels are falling, but still pose a flood risk.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are patrolling watercourses in the area and liaising with emergency services.
Please take photographs of any flood damage and contact your insurance company if you've been flooded.
