Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels are rising at the Colwick river gauge as a result of Storm HENK. Consequently, flooding of property is expected to beginning between 16:00 and 20:00 today, 03/01/2024.

Areas most at risk are Hoveringham, including Boat Lane, Gonalston Lane, and Main Street. Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety, and have a bag ready with vital items like medicines and insurance documents. Follow advice from emergency services.
