Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels have risen at the Colwick river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding remains. Areas most at risk are Hoveringham, including Boat Lane, Gonalston Lane, and Main Street.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until Saturday, 06/01/24.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and patrolling watercourses in the area.
Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
