The flood warning for Swinney Beck at Masham remains in force. Consequently, flooding of property, roads, and farmland, is possible. River levels have peaked and are falling. Areas most at risk are properties along Westholme Road. The weather is forecast to remain unsettled with wintry showers for the next couple of days, rainfall totals are expected to be low. Please avoid walking or driving through flood water, and visit the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast. We are closely monitoring the situation. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 22/01/2021, or as the situation changes.
