Water levels in the River Wallington are now falling following yesterday’s rain, when 33 mm was recorded at Worlds End. This is a significant amount of rain in a short period of time. This is in addition to the prolonged rainfall over the last few months. We expect river levels to return to normal over the next few days. Any flood impacts should reduce over the next few days. However, the river will remain sensitive to any further rainfall over the next few weeks. We will continue to monitor the river and weather forecast information.
