High river levels tomorrow evening may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 03 February 2026 as more heavy rain is forecast (30mm).
If this forecast rain affects the River Wallington, flooding could affect Boarhunt Mill, surrounding the Mill building. River levels may also come close to the top of the defence wall in the centre of Wallington village and surface water could affect Broadcut Retail Park. Water Levels near the Cob and Pen pub will rise at high tide (00:30 04/02/2026). This could be a similar event to 01/02/2026. A Flood Warning will be issued if we expect properties to flood. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 16:00 04/02/2026.
We are checking flood defences including the defence wall in Wallington village.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Please keep away from the river until water levels begin to fall.
This message will be updated by 1:00PM on 04 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
