Flood alert

River levels have fallen through today, 10/12/2023, after yesterday's persistent rainfall. However further rainfall is forecast this evening and into the early hours of Monday morning, therefore levels on the River Worth are expected to increase once again from around 08:00 PM. Levels are likely to be lower than those seen last night, 9/12/2023. Areas most at risk include River Worth, Bridgehouse Beck and North Beck from Oxenhope to Keighley. We will continue to monitor rainfall and river levels closely. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 08:15 AM on 11/12/2023, or as the situation changes.
