Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 22:00 PM on 31/12/2024.
Areas most at risk include River Worth, Bridgehouse Beck and North Beck from Oxenhope to Keighley
Further flooding is possible overnight as river levels will rise rapidly due to heavy rainfall. River levels are currently forecast to peak between 05:00 AM and 10:00 AM tomorrow, 01/01/2025.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with emergency services and local authorities. We will issue flood warnings where required.
Please avoid using low lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers which may be flooded.
We will aim to update this message by 09:00 AM on 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
