Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight. 
Flooding is expected on 12 November 2025 . 
There has been heavy rainfall in the area this evening which has caused levels in the River Yarty to rise.

Properties and low lying areas near the river are at risk - minor roads and fords near to and across the river are likely to become impassable.

Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas.

River levels are forecast to remain high with further rain forecast into Wednesday morning. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 
Activate any flood protection products you may have . Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
