Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding this afternoon. Flooding is expected from 12:15 PM on 05/01/2025.
Areas most at risk include properties around Haxted Mill and Haxted Road. We do not expect property flooding at Edenbridge, but we will continue to monitor the situation and re-issue this message if necessary.
Further flooding is expected to continue this afternoon as river levels are expected to remain high throughout Sunday 05/01/2025 due to heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and monitoring rainfall and river levels.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Activate any property flood protection products you may have. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
Further light rainfall is possible overnight and into Monday 06/01/2025.
