Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides and forecast weather conditions over the next three days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Areas particularly at risk include exposed coastal areas of Plymouth Sound including Cawsand, Kingsand and The Hoe.
High tide at Plymouth is at 8:11pm on Thursday evening and 8:24am on Friday morning. Times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.39mAOD and 2.99mAOD respectively. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.4m and 0.7m higher than tide table level. Offshore wave heights of around 3.0m are forecast with Force 3 South Westerly and Force 6 South Easterly winds respectively.
Further alerts and warnings may be issued over the weekend.

Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
