Flooding expected. Take action now.
The Loxwood Stream is rising quickly following 40mm of rainfall due to Storm Dennis. Further showers are possible until 15:00 16/02/2020. River levels are rising and property flooding is expected from 12:00 16/02/2020. Water will also affect fields, gardens, and roads. River levels will be higher than recent months. Locations affected could include: Onslow Arms, Brewhurst Mill. Surface water flooding may affect Loxwood Village. Rain will ease Sunday afternoon. With only isolated showers through to midweek, river levels should begin to fall by Monday morning 17/02/2020. Please operate private water control structures to reduce the risk of flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will update this message by 22:00 16/02/2020
