Warning no longer in force

River levels are still high on the Lox, but have now peaked and are falling through Brewhurst and Loxwood, after Storm Dennis's widespread heavy rain. Flood impacts will ease, but may continue to affect fields, gardens, roads and isolated properties, until river levels fall further. No new property flooding is expected. Please continue to take care in and around flood affected areas, flood water can contain hidden dangers. Rain has now cleared, and only isolated showers are expected until Thursday 20/2/2020. These showers are unlikely to cause river levels to rise significantly, if at all, but river levels may not return to normal until Tuesday afternoon 18/2/2020. We will continue to monitor the levels and forecast and will re-issue messages if the risk of flooding increases.
