Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding throughout the morning. Flooding is expected on 01 December 2025 from approximately 06:00 with further rainfall expected. Locations most affected will be Walsden from Bottomley Lock to Clough Mill including Rochdale Road, Walsden Station and Walsden School. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels. Start acting on your flood plan if you have one. Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. The Leeds Area Incident Room opened at 06:00 on 01 December 2025. This message will be updated by 2:45PM on 01 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
