River levels remain high but are falling on Willow Beck due to overnight rainfall. Areas most at risk include Alverton Lane, High Street (B1333), Friarage Street, East Road and the Friarage Hospital. The weather forecasts are improving. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 12:30am on Monday 12/02/2024, or as the situation changes.
