Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rain is forecast from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday. From 18:00 on 18/02/2026, flooding could affect riverside properties on Forewood Lane and near Crowhurst Recreation Ground. From 06:00 on 19/02/2026, flooding could affect Bexhill Road Recreation Ground, and gardens that back onto the recreation ground, or near the Combe Haven. If more rain falls than forecast, further isolated property flooding could be possible. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday afternoon, Friday, and over the weekend. In Crowhurst, river levels should begin to fall by 10:00 on 19/02/2026, and return near to normal by Friday. In Bulverhythe, river levels should begin to fall by 18:00 on 19/02/2026 but will remain higher than normal until next week. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February, with further periods of flood risk possible. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Install flood protection products in Crowhurst. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 19/02/2026.
