Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

The rivers of the Combe Haven are higher than normal, but falling following Wednesday's rain. Only minor flood impacts are expected to remain, affecting fields and Bexhill Road Recreation Ground. A small amount of light rain is expected Sunday morning. Less than 5mm of rain. Only a minimal rise in river level is expected Sunday. Rain is predicted to clear away Sunday afternoon. No more than an isolated shower is predicted Monday through to Friday. River levels will remain low in Crowhurst, and fall a little in Bulverhythe next week. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have. Install flood protection products in Crowhurst. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 23/02/2026.
