Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High groundwater levels may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 05/02/2026 because of a wet January 2026.
Flooding could affect cellars of properties at the Southern end of the village at South End Close and the Dolphin pub. Further rain (up to 30mm) is forecast tomorrow. Groundwater levels in Hursley are expected to rise into next week. From Saturday 07/02/2026, if levels rise at their current rate, it is possible that much of the village will experience cellar flooding impacts as well as sewerage system impacts.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Residents are advised to prepare property resilience measures and ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed .
