Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Groundwater levels in Hursley are high but slowly falling. The level at the borehole in Hursley has fallen by 30cm in the last week. Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system issues are expected to be ongoing in the village. Only very small amounts of rain are forecast from Monday 23/03/2026 to Friday 27/03/2026. Groundwater levels will continue to slowly fall but flooding impacts will affect Hursley into mid-April. We are closely monitoring the situation. Residents are advised to ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed. This message will be updated by 18:00 30/03/2026.
