The Bull River in Hellingly remains high but is now falling following Sunday's rain. The Cuckmere River in Hellingly has already fallen significantly. Only showers are forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Rivers should continue to fall. Minor flooding affecting fields, rural roads and gardens of properties on Station Road, Church Lane and Church Road, Hellingly, should reduce Monday. A Flood Alert remains in force to describe these impacts. Another 10-20mm of rain is forecast on Wednesday and also on Friday, which could cause river levels to rise. Minor flood impacts will again be possible Wednesday. Some roads including Mill Road and Church Road may be affected by flooding, please plan to avoid driving through routes vulnerable to flooding. We continue to monitor the levels and forecast. We will re-issue this Flood Warning if new instances of property flooding are expected.
