Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding this morning.
Flooding is expected on 19 February 2026 from 04:00, as lot of rain (25mm) fell on Wednesday evening.
Flooding will affect properties on Mill Lane Hellingly, as well as Grove Hill near Grovebridge Farm, and Hammer Lane near Cowbeech. From 06:00 on 19/02/2026 flooding will also affect properties on Station Road, Church Lane and Church Road, Hellingly, as well as the roads and land. Only a small amount of rain is forecast for the remainder of Thursday. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce throughout Thursday evening.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Don't put yourself or others at risk and avoid roads that flood (Mill Road and Church Road).
