Water levels in the River Blackwater at Wellow and Ower are now falling. Only a very small amount of rain is expected to affect Hampshire during Tuesday (27/01/2025). As water levels return to normal, any minor residual flood impacts will significantly reduce. Showers are forecast for today and tomorrow (28/01/2025), with up to 15mm of rain possible on each day. Should these showers affect the area, minor impact flooding will continue. A flood alert remains in force while these impacts continue. We continue to monitor the river and weather forecast and we will issue further advice if additional rainfall causes a significant rise in water levels.
