Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday.
Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 , as a lot of rain fell in Storm Chandra (38mm).
Residual flooding will continue to affect land and roads at West Wellow, Landford and Ower throughout the night, and into tomorrow morning (28/01/26). River levels have started to slowly fall and will continue to fall overnight. Further showers are forecast for the next couple of days.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and keeping the River Blackwater free of reported blockages.
Activate any flood protection products you may have and ensure pumps used to lower water levels are working.
