Warning no longer in force

Water levels in the River Blackwater at Ower are now falling. Only small amounts of rain are forecast during the next 48 hours. This may cause a minor increase in water level, but we do not expect it to cause property flooding. Minor flooding impacts to land and roads will reduce throughout today (25/02/2025). From Thursday 27/02/2025, until Saturday 01/03/2025, the weather is expected to be relatively dry, which will allow water levels to return to normal. We will continue to monitor the river and weather forecast information.
