Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Thursday.
Flooding is expected on 18 December 2025 from 20:00, as a lot of rain (41mm) has fallen so far today.
Flooding will affect land and roads at West Wellow, Landford and Ower. From 20:00 to 03:00 Friday morning the river will be high enough to flood the Mill at East Wellow. Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Cadnam, East and West Wellow, and Ower by 03:00 on 19/12/2025.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and keeping the River Blackwater free of blockages.
Activate any flood protection products you may have - ensure pumps used to lower water levels are working.
