Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Friday.
Flooding is expected on 19 December 2025 , as a lot of rain (45mm) fell on Thursday.
Flooding is affecting fields, gardens, rural roads and properties at Lodsbridge, near Selham, and the A285 at Coultershaw Bridge, near Petworth. Only a small amount of rain is forecast over the next 5 days. River levels and flood risk are now slowly falling in Lodsbridge near Selham, and should return nearer to normal by 10:00 on 20/12/2025.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Activate any flood protection products you may have . Install flood protection products at Lodsbridge, if you have them.
