Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rising river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 15 February 2026 from 9:30PM due to a combination of rain and high tide.
The high tide this evening (15/02/2026) is around 10:30PM at Southampton. Rising river levels from heavy rainfall today, combined with the high tide, will prevent the river from draining to the sea over the next 2 to 3 hours. This may flood the access road and car park near to the White Swan Pub at Mansbridge. Footpath flooding may also affect Riverside Park. The bulk of today's rain has passed over. More rain is forecast on Tuesday (17/02/2026) which could increase flood risk again. High tide on Tuesday morning is at 10:15AM and will be higher than this evening.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and liaising with Southampton City Council on the operation of Woodmill.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have , including defences around the White Swan Pub.
