Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Water levels in the River Test at Stockbridge are high, but they are now slowly falling. Currently, out of bank flooding will be affecting land and fields at Stockbridge, Broughton, Brook and Timsbury, although impacts would have improved slightly over the last few days. Today (24/02/2020) up to 15mm of rain is forecast. This could see an increase in river levels, with minor flood impacts continuing. Tuesday (25/02/2020) and Wednesday (26/02/2020) should see fairly small amounts of rain. On Thursday (27/02/2020) and Friday (28/02/2020) heavier rain is forecast. If the heavier rain does affect the area, then levels will rise, causing deeper out of bank flooding. Please remain prepared for impacts this week. We continue to monitor the forecast. This Flood Alert will be updated by 12:00 on Tuesday 25/02/2020.
