Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Water levels in the River Test at Stockbridge remain high. Water continues to flood land and fields at Stockbridge, Broughton, Brook and Timsbury. During today (28/02/2020) and tomorrow (29/02/2020) further rainfall is forecast, and a total of 14 to 19mm is expected. Unsettled conditions are expected to continue into Sunday (01/03/2020). Monday (02/03/2020) and Tuesday (03/03/2020) are forecast to be drier. River levels will increase slightly in response to the rainfall over the next few days. We continue to monitor the forecast. Please avoid walking through flooded areas. Please remain prepared for further impacts over the next 5 days, as river levels will rise and fall. Generally water levels will be much higher than normal and minor impact flooding will continue. This Flood Alert will be updated by 12:00 on Sunday 01/03/2020.
