Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High river levels on Thursday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 05 February 2026 as a lot of rain is forecast (25mm).
If as much rain falls as forecast, flooding could affect the recreation ground at Fleming Park, and the river will be very high at Kingfisher Road. Surface water flooding could affect roads in Chandlers Ford, and at Stoneham Way from Chestnut Way to the M27. A similar event to yesterday, 03/02/2025. Today is forecast to be dry. If as much rain falls as forecast tomorrow, levels will start to rise tomorrow morning. River levels and flood risk will remain high for the next few days.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages.
