Flooding possible. Be prepared.

High river levels on Wednesday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 11 February 2026 as a lot of rain is forecast (20mm).
Flooding is affecting the recreation ground at Fleming Park, and the river will be very high at Kingfisher Road. Surface water flooding in roads affecting Chandlers Ford and at Stoneham Way, from Chestnut Way to the M27 is also possible. Only isolated showers are forecast later this week and into the weekend. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in the Monks Brook from Friday 13 February 2026.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and will ensure the river is kept free of reported blockages.
