Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding today.
Flooding is expected on 27 January 2026 from 07:00, as a lot of rain (29mm) fell on Tuesday.
Flooding will affect near Mill Farm, Blackwater Mill buildings, and property at Sandy Lane. Property on the riverbank at St George's Way may also flood. Rain is forecast to continue until 09:00 27/01/2026. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Shide by 11:00 27/01/2026.
We are checking rivers for blockages .
Activate any flood protection products you may have .
