Flooding expected. Take action now.
The River Medina is higher than normal, but is now falling following Sunday's rain. Minor flood impacts will continue to affect fields, roads, and gardens at Blackwater, and near Sandy Lane. Only isolated showers are forecast Monday. The river should slowly fall a little further. However, another 20mm of rain is forecast Tuesday. From 09:00 03/02/2026 property flooding could again be possible. Potentially affecting Blackwater Mill buildings, property at Sandy Lane, Blackwater Hollow, Blackwater. Property on the riverbank at St George's Way may also flood. Flooding will also affect near Mill Farm, and fields, roads, and gardens. We are checking rivers for blockages. Activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated by 14:00 03/02/2026.
