Areas most at risk include Chesil Bank and The Fleet Nature Reserve and Ferry Bridge Marine Services, Portland Beach Road. Tidal conditions are expected to remain unsettled tomorrow evening with a warning forecast for Chiswell but not for Ferry Bridge area. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Portland Harbour of 1.81 mAODN at 9:15 AM on 23/1/2026, with southerly force 6 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded .
