Flood alert

Rain is forecast from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday. From 04:00 on 19/02/2026, minor flooding could again affect fields, roads including the A281, and gardens of isolated properties at Mock Bridge near Shermanbury. If more rain occurs than is forecast, isolated property flooding could be possible at Mock Bridge. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday afternoon, Friday, and over the weekend. River levels should begin to fall by 16:00 on 19/02/2026, and return near to normal by Friday afternoon. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February, with further periods of flood risk possible. Avoid roads that flood, including the A281 at Mock Bridge. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 19/02/2026.
