Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Brit, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around properties in Southgate and Newtown in Beaminster. Heavy rain has caused rapid river rise in the catchment. levels are expected to remain elevated for the next 12 hours.
