Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are falling but remain high at the Dernford river gauge as a result of persistent rainfall on Thursday 14th January. Consequently, flooding of property is still possible today, Saturday 16th January 2021. We expect flooding to affect Bury Road, Joscelynes, Sawston Road, London Road and Aylesford Way in Stapleford, Kings Mill Lane and Church Street in Great Shelford, and Riddy Close, Church Road and Cambridge Road in Hauxton
No further rainfall is forecast today, Saturday 16th January.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences and liaising with emergency services.
Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger.
