Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels remain high at the Dernford river gauge as a result of rainfall on Thursday 14th January and yesterday Saturday 16th January. Consequently, the risk of flooding is remains. We expect flooding to affect Bury Road, Joscelynes, Sawston Road, London Road and Aylesford Way in Stapleford, Kings Mill Lane and Church Street in Great Shelford, and Riddy Close, Church Road and Cambridge Road in Hauxton. No further rainfall is forecast for the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Please avoid contact with flood water. This message will be updated this afternoon, Sunday 17th January, or as the situation changes.
