High river levels on Thursday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 18 December 2025 from 16:00, as a lot of rain (36mm) fell on Thursday.
Flooding could affect low-lying land and the road at Rectory Road, nearest the railway line at West Dean. Rain is forecast to continue until 16:00 on Thursday 18/12/2025. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce in Dunbridge by 19:00 on 18/12/2025.
We are checking rivers for blockages . We continue to monitor the forecast.
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . We recommend moving cars parked close to the river in West Dean.
