Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Friday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 06 February 2026 from 04:00 as 10-20mm of rain is forecast Thursday night.
Minor flooding could affect gardens of riverside properties near the White Hart pub Buxted, and Hempstead Mill, the Roller Mill, Mill Lane, River Way, Bridge Cottage & Bell Walk, Uckfield. From 08:00 06/02/2026 flooding could affect gardens of properties at Isfield Mill and Isfield Bridge. Only showers are forecast Friday. River levels and flood risk should begin to reduce by 10:00 06/02/2026 in Buxted, and 16:00 06/02/2026 in Isfield. Returning near to normal by Saturday. However more rain and flood risk is forecast Saturday evening.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Install flood protection products in Buxted and Isfield.
