Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High river levels on Sunday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 15 February 2026 from 07:00AM as a lot of rain is forecast (20mm).
Flooding could affect riverside properties near the White Hart Pub in Buxted, and Hempstead Mill, Uckfield. In Uckfield, the most risk is near The Roller Mill, Mill Lane, River Way, Bridge Cottage and Bell Walk. From 12:00PM on 15/02/2026, flooding could affect properties at Isfield Mill and Isfield Bridge. Only a small amount of rain is forecast on Monday (16/02/2026). An additional 20mm of rain forecast on Tuesday (17/02/2026) into Wednesday (18/02/2026) could increase flood risk again.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Install flood protection products in Buxted and Isfield if you have them.
