Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Rain is forecast from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday. From 18:00 on 18/02/2026, minor flooding could affect gardens and riverside properties near the White Hart Pub in Buxted, and Hempstead Mill, the Roller Mill, Mill Lane, River Way, Bridge Cottage and Bell Walk, Uckfield. From 23:00 on 18/02/2026, minor flooding could affect gardens at Isfield Mill and Isfield Bridge. If more rain falls than forecast, isolated property flooding could be possible. Only isolated showers are forecast Thursday afternoon, Friday, and over the weekend. River levels should begin to fall by 08:00 on 19/02/2026 in Buxted, and 14:00 on 19/02/2026 in Isfield. River levels should return near to normal Friday. Unsettled weather could continue throughout February, with further periods of flood risk possible. Consider activating any flood protection products you may have in Buxted and Isfield. This message will be updated by 20:00 on 19/02/2026.
