Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Tuesday and Wednesday. Flooding is expected to continue on Tuesday 03 February into Wednesday 04 February 2026, as a further 20mm of rain has fallen in the past 24 hours. Flooding will continue to affect Moreton Common and Golf Links roads. Fort Holiday Park and Sandown Sewage works will continue to experience flooding as ditches struggle to drain to the main river. Impacts are also expected at Nicholas Close, Brading. River levels in Sandown should begin to fall on Wednesday 04 February 2026. Further rainfall is forecast from Thursday 05 February and into the weekend. River levels and flood risk will remain high for the next few days. We are checking rivers for blockages and operating Bembridge sluices. Activate any flood protection products you may have. This message will be updated or removed by 18:00 04/02/2026.
