Water levels in the Monktonmead Brook at St Johns have now fallen back down to those seen before last night's rain. There has been very little rain in the last few hours so the river has had a chance to recover and return to normal. Any minor flood impacts should now be reduced or will reduce in the next few hours. More unsettled weather, bringing a further band of rainfall is forecast for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight from tonight (04/12/2023). We will continue to monitor the river and weather forecast information. Should this rain affect the river, then we may need to issue further advice. Please remain prepared for ongoing minor impact flooding over the next few days.
