Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Friday.
Flooding is expected on 13 February 2026 as rain is forecast (15mm).
If rain falls as forecast today, river levels will rise. Flooding is continuing to affect Moreton Common and Golf Links Roads. Fort Holiday Park and Sandown Sewage Works could flood as ditches continue to struggle to drain to the main river. Impacts are also continuing at Nicholas Close, Brading. At Bembridge, river levels will rise around the time of high water (21:16 on 13/02/2026 and 09:26 on 14/02/2026) as the incoming tide will prevent the river from flowing to sea. Further rain is forecast on Sunday (15/02/2026). River levels and flood risk will remain high into next week.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and operating Bembridge sluices.
Activate any flood protection products you may have .
