Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

High river levels are expected to cause flooding on Thursday. 
Flooding is expected on 05 February 2026 , further rain (9mm) has fallen today.  
River levels are high. Flooding is continuing to affect Moreton Common and Golf Links roads. Fort Holiday Park and Sandown Sewage works are continuing to flood as ditches struggle to drain to the main river. Impacts may be continuing at Nicholas Close, Brading. Rain is to continue for the remainder of the day. Further rain is forecast Friday (06/02/2026) and Saturday (07/02/2026). River levels will remain high for the next few days. 
We are checking rivers for blockages and operating Bembridge sluices 
Activate any flood protection products you may have . 
This message will be updated by 6:00PM on 06 February 2026 or as the situation changes.
