Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels are expected to cause flooding over the next two days.
Flooding is expected on 12 February 2026 from 20:00 because of tide locking on neap tides.
River levels remain high from rainfall experienced over the last few weeks. Bembridge rivel level is tide locking on neap tides and not able to drain at its usual rates. It is possible flooding will occur over the next two tides, 12/02/2026 at 20:06 and 13/02/2026 at 08:27. Impacts are expected at Nicholas Close, Brading. More rain (20mm) is forecast tomorrow (Friday 13/02/2026). Flooding will affect Moreton Common and Golf Links roads. Fort Holiday Park and Sandown Sewage Works could flood as ditches struggle to drain to the main river. More rain is forecast on Sunday (15/02/2026).
We are checking rivers for blockages and operating Bembridge sluices.
Activate any flood protection products you may have .
