Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

High tides are expected to cause flooding over the next three days.  
Flooding is expected from the morning of Tuesday 3 February through to Thursday 5 February 2026.  
Areas at risk include Cadgwith and Coverack, Porthallow, the tidal Helford Estuary, Maenporth and Swanpool, St.Mawes, East Portholland, Gorran Haven, Portmellon, Mevagissey, Pentewan and Par. High tides of concern at Falmouth are: Tuesday 06:23, Wednesday 07:01, Thursday 07:36, times of high water vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is set to peak at 2.94mAOD on Tuesday. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.43 and 0.53 metres above tide table level. Moderate force 4-6 E to SE winds and offshore wave heights of over 2m are forecast.  
We are closely monitoring the situation .  
Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded and activate any flood protection products you may have.
