Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Water levels in the Monktonmead Brook at St John’s Station are now falling. Small amounts of rain (up to 10mm) are forecast over the next 8 hours. This may cause a minor increase in water level, and could prolong flooding impacts to the railway tracks upstream of St John’s Station. From Monday (06/01/2025) onwards, the weather is relatively dry with only small amounts of rain forecast each day. This will give the river a chance to recover. We will keep the river free of reported blockages. We continue to monitor the forecast. Please do not walk or drive through flood water. This Flood Alert will be removed by 16:00 on Monday 06/01/2025.
